A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

Lorin Mamo

A romantic who lives for the moments that feel like a hug to your heart, the ones that make you linger a little longer, hold someone a little tighter, and dream a little bigger.

Bridal, to me, is where artistry meets connection. Being part of that space, so personal and meaningful, is something I never take lightly.

After a period of healing and rediscovery, I chose to build my life in Italy. It’s here that everything came together again, both personally and creatively.

Bridal is where artistry and connection meet. Being part of someone’s most beautiful day fills me with joy and gratitude. After a journey of healing and rediscovery, I made Italy my home.

HELLO BEAUTIFUL BRIDE-TO-BE

My creative journey comes from the heart, guided by intuition and a deep love for creating beauty with intention.

Makeup artist backstage at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

One of my earliest memories of this craft is watching a hairdresser give my mother a classic ’90s perm in the Netherlands. I was eight, completely fascinated, and asked if I could try it the next time. To my surprise, she said yes.

A year later, during our first trip back to Syria after leaving the country, my mother proudly told our family that I had styled her curls. I still remember their reaction and how, without realising it at the time, something had already begun.

Though I initially studied law to honour the hopes of my immigrant parents, that creative pull never really left. After graduating, I moved to London to study makeup and soon found myself assisting backstage at London Fashion Week.

That path eventually led me to Charlotte Tilbury, where I spent eight years working across fashion shows, red carpet, and international editorial. Over time, I became National Trainer for the Netherlands, mentoring artists and representing the brand on a national level.

Those years shaped not only my technique, but also my eye.

In 2021, everything shifted when I developed long COVID. Being forced to slow down brought a kind of clarity.

I realised that bridal is where my heart truly lies. Where the work becomes more than just makeup. Where trust is built, and moments are shared in a way that feels deeply personal.

Today, my work is rooted in that understanding, always centred around the woman in front of me.
