One of my earliest beauty memories is watching a hairdresser give my mother a classic ’90s perm in the Netherlands. I was eight, completely fascinated, and asked if I could try it next time. To my surprise, she said yes. A year later, on our first trip back to Syria after fleeing the country, my mother proudly told our family that I had styled her curls. Their astonishment at how young I was planted the very first seed of my love for beauty.

Though I initially studied law to honour the hopes of my immigrant parents, my creative calling never faded. After graduating, I moved to London to study makeup and soon found myself assisting backstage at London Fashion Week. That path led me to Charlotte Tilbury, where I spent eight years working across fashion shows for houses like Versace, Zuhair Murad, and Victoria’s Secret, as well as red carpet events and editorial shoots worldwide. Eventually, I became the National Trainer for the Netherlands, mentoring artists, leading masterclasses, and representing the brand on a national stage. That experience deepened both my artistry and my understanding of beauty as a craft.

In 2021, everything changed when I developed long COVID. Forced to slow down, I gained clarity: bridal makeup is where my heart truly lies. It’s where artistry meets connection, and often, where lasting friendships are born. Today, I create timeless, elevated bridal looks with warmth, precision, and care, supporting women on one of the most meaningful days of their lives.

For me, every bride deserves her own red carpet moment, walking down the aisle with confidence, knowing she is the most radiant version of herself. That is the moment I strive to create.
